To fund the construction and operation of this project, they created The Chantry Chinook Classic Salmon Derby was born and in 1983 and is now a 16-day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chantry Chinook Classic Salmon Derby has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Lake Huron Fishing club to fund a variety of community projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year the annual derby wrapped up for 2024 with over 1000 single angler tickets and 220 group tickets sold for the event. With a total of 1520 fish weighed in, which amounted to 12,758.01 lbs.
